   Better than the one I ordered!
   I was contacted by Inventure Solutions LLC to let me know this one was out of stock. They sent me a newer model, which is very nice, for the same price. It is slightly different. The two drawers below are freezer drawers instead of a refrigerator drawer and a freezer drawer. I am happy with it and it cost the same as the older model.

   Terrible customer service
   We were so excited to install this beautiful fridge into our brand new kitchen. We purchased the appliances around Thanksgiving but weren’t able to get our full install done for a couple of months, so the new appliances sat in their boxes.When we finally got our new fridge installed, we were so excited to have the ice maker and water dispenser right on our fridge. One day, we came home from work and our brand new floor had water seeping out when we stepped in it. We couldn’t find the source and thought perhaps one of our dogs spilled their water. We cleaned it up, and marked the floor boards to be replaced.The next day when we came home from work, the floor was floating. The source. The fridge. We pulled out the fridge and the water line had water shooting out of it. We turned off the water and called Samsung right away.This was in February. We made a claim and we’re told someone would call us back to set up a time for a service appointment. No one called. We called back and we’re told they closed the case because customer service made a mistake when doing the paperwork. That day, we made another claim. This person insisted they would do things correctly but the same thing happened. This time we were told someone would call yet again, no one did and we received an email saying we never filled out a form we were unaware of and the case was closed. We called again and they scheduled a tech to come out. The tech came out, had a video call and then didn’t repair the fridge. His only response was, “ physical damage and he was instructed not to repair the machine.”We were then told our case was closed again. We opened yet another claim and a tech came out again. They had the parts sent to our home. He had a video call with someone again who said not to fix the machine due to physical damage. He left and took the parts.We called again and we are waiting for the technician report so we can call back and open the old claim.It has not been 4 months of going back and forth with Samsung over a product that was given to us faulty. All we want is for someone to repair our fridge and to stop giving us run around.The fridge works great other than this issue. I do not recommend purchasing Samsung appliances because as you can see, the customer service department lacks the professionalism and knows life to actually get anything done or communicate effectively and efficiently when needed. They have wasted our time as we had to take off work to ensure we were home when the technicians came only to find out twice, they weren’t going to fix our fridge. Additionally, I don’t advise purchasing anything from Samsung because it’s impossible to get it fixed. We spent good money on all of our appliances and all we get is straight run around, a brand new fridge that we can’t use all the functions on, ruined electric because the water ran into our basement and messed up some of our electrical work and a ruined brand new floor.We are disappointed and frustrated with the company as a whole. I would recommend going with another brand if you are looking for new appliances. I would recommend researching other brands and checking reviews for their customer service!

   Makes Wet Ice & Bottom Shelf Must be Completely Disassembled to Clean
   The Samsung RF24R7201SR refrigerator makes wet, cloudy ice. The ice maker is very large and takes up too much room. Also, if you have a liquid spill on the bottom shelf, the shelf has to be completely disassembled to remove the glass in order to clean the glass and shelf. Then you have to reassemble it. Several little plastic tabs must be pushed in at the same time to do this. Samsung has detailed instructions on line. Good luck, if a tab breaks you have to buy an entire new bottom shelf unit. We ordered this refrigerator during a house move during COVID in 2021, on the recommendation of a builder’s design center. After the move we bought a separate freezer and are looking to buy a beverage refrigerator because the Samsung is inadequate.

   Ice maker will fail and Samsung won’t help
   This is by far the worst appliance purchase I have ever made. I have had countless problems with this since the day it was delivered. First day of use, it won’t cool down. Luckily was able to get it replaced within a week with another one. Then after 9 months, the ice maker stops working and the ice maker compartment is frozen over. I called customer service and after a lengthy hold was told that it was because the fridge wasn’t level. Told me to defrost the fridge and make sure it was level.That seemed to work and I forgot about it until six months later, the same problem. This time I was told it was due to air the water line. So I defrost, pull out a few gallons of water to flush the line and I get ice again. A few weeks later the motherboard failed, but now I’m, out of warranty so I keep getting shuffled around over 3 days while my food rots until I give up and pay to have it replaced. Shortly afterwards, the ice maker stops again. Same problem so I decide to have the ice maker replaced.That works well for about 9 months and then the problems start up again. I replaced the icemaker one more time and that worked for a year before it stopped making ice. I can defrost it and get a few weeks of ice before It fails.Bottom line Samsung refridgerators have a design flaw that causes ice to buildup around the fan in back of the ice compartment. Once the fan stops, the icemaker begins to freeze over and finally stops working.There is no solution to this design flaw that I’ve been able to find. I’ve tried every repair suggestion and nothing works. And because of the class action lawsuit over this issue, Samsung has refused to acknowledge the problem or do anything to help me.Be warned, do not buy Samsung refrigerators until this design flaw is solved.    The worst ice maker ever
   The ice maker in this refrigerator is so frustrating. At least once a week I have to remove a jammed ice bucket, remove ice that’s frozen to the top of the unit, wait forever for it to melt … and even when it begins working again, it is incredibly show, and then freezes up again. I’ve done all the trouble shooting, watched all the videos. I regret buying this expensive piece of junk more than I’ve regretted any other purchase I’ve ever made.

   Doors hard to close
   Does anyone have an issue with the doors closing ? You have to really make sure they are closed. Shouldn’t they close automatically? It was just delivered today so I’m not sure what to expect
